The Town of Aynor has officially adopted a new Food Truck Ordinance, creating a clear framework to welcome mobile food vendors while supporting local business growth and ensuring public health and safety.

This marks an exciting step forward for Aynor’s business community, opening the door for new dining options, partnerships, and event opportunities across our Little Golden Town.

What You Need to Know

The newly adopted ordinance includes:

  • Food trucks are now permitted with an annual $500 license (May–April)
  • Vendors must have proper health permits, insurance, and (if applicable) property owner approval
  • Operation is allowed on private property (with consent) and designated public areas
  • Approved operating hours are 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM, with extended hours possible for approved events
  • Trucks must follow location guidelines, including distance from restaurants and traffic safety rules
  • A monthly hospitality fee (1%) applies
  • Special events are welcome with additional approval and applicable fees

Supporting Business Growth in Aynor

This ordinance creates new opportunities for food vendors and local businesses to collaborate while maintaining standards that protect the community and existing establishments.

The Aynor Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to see how this initiative enhances local events, encourages entrepreneurship, and brings even more energy to our growing town.

For more information or to apply, contact the Town of Aynor Clerk’s Office.
