Christmas Comes to the Streets of Aynor

Each December, the Aynor Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the Aynor Christmas Parade, bringing businesses, churches, schools, organizations and neighbors together for one of Aynor’s favorite holiday traditions.

There’s nothing quite like Christmas in a small town!

Downtown comes alive with decorated floats, Christmas music, twinkling lights and plenty of holiday spirit as the parade makes its way through town — with Santa bringing up the finale!

Want to Be Part of the Parade?

We’re looking for businesses, organizations, churches, schools, youth groups and community groups to join the lineup!

Decorate a float. Deck out a vehicle. Gather your team. Turn up the Christmas music. Just make it festive and make it fun.

All entries must complete the official parade application and agree to the parade Rules & Regulations. All entries must be decorated in a Christmas/holiday theme.

ENTRY FEE: $25
FREE: K–12 school groups, youth organizations/groups and churches.

DAY: First Saturday of December
TIME: Starts at 4:30

Deck It Out. Line It Up. Let’s Parade!

For a safe and festive parade, please remember:

      • 🍬 Hand it, don’t throw it. Candy may be handed to spectators by walkers alongside your entry, but please do not throw candy or other items.
      • 🎅 Leave Santa to us! Please do not have anyone dressed as Santa Claus in your entry. Santa will make his official appearance at the end of the parade.
      • 🐴 No horses are permitted due to liability and safety concerns.
      • 🎄 Deck it out! All parade entries must be decorated for the holiday.
      • 📋 Every entry must submit a completed Parade Application and signed Rules & Regulations.
      • 💳 Entry fees may be paid online.
