Membership Spotlight: Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue

When orphaned or injured wildlife need help, Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue works to provide the care needed to give those animals a chance to recover and return to the wild.
Based in Aynor, Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife throughout South Carolina.
Rescue, Rehabilitation & Release
The organization’s mission is centered on three important steps: rescue, rehabilitation, and release.
Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue provides critical care for animals that have been injured, displaced, or orphaned, with the goal of helping them recover and, when possible, return to their natural habitat.
Their work also includes educating the community about wildlife care, conservation, and the importance of protecting native species.
Supporting Wildlife Conservation
Wildlife rehabilitation requires time, supplies, food, medical care, and other resources. As a nonprofit organization, Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue relies on donations and community support to help fund those needs.
Every contribution helps support their ongoing efforts to care for wildlife and continue rehabilitation work across the region.
Education Matters, Too
In addition to hands-on rescue work, Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue is committed to helping the public better understand local wildlife and how to respond when an animal may need assistance.
Education and conservation go hand in hand with rehabilitation, helping create greater awareness of the wildlife that shares our communities.
The Aynor Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to spotlight Pee Dee Wildlife Rescue and recognize the work they are doing to care for injured and orphaned animals while promoting wildlife conservation.
