Founded in 1933 in Mullins, South Carolina, Anderson Brothers Bank was established during the Great Depression by brothers Ernest Anderson and Bishop Bonar Anderson. At a time when local farmers struggled to secure financing, the Anderson brothers stepped forward to provide the support needed to help sustain the area’s agricultural economy. What began as a small operation in the back of a tobacco warehouse has grown into one of South Carolina’s most respected community banks.
Today, Anderson Brothers Bank serves customers throughout the Pee Dee, Coastal, and Lowcountry regions while remaining family-owned and committed to the principles on which it was founded.
