Welcome The Clipper Barn to Aynor!
Ribbon Cutting – Monday, November 10 at 10:00 AM
📍 3935 Hwy 319, Aynor, SC 29511
There’s something special about small-town roots, hard work, and community pride—and The Clipper Barn embodies all of it. The Aynor Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to welcome The Clipper Barn, Aynor’s only barbershop, to our local business family! Join us on Monday, November 10 at 10:00 AM as we officially cut the ribbon and celebrate this exciting new chapter.
The Clipper Barn is owned and operated by Kristina and Andrew Tartaglia, who both share a passion for the art of barbering. The couple met in a barbershop back in 2016, where they quickly realized they shared not only a love for each other—but also a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship behind men’s grooming. With encouragement from Kristina’s mother, Maria, they opened their first family-owned barbershop up north in 2018.
For four successful years, their barbershop thrived, but life soon took a difficult turn when Kristina’s mother became terminally ill. After her passing, Kristina, Andrew, and her father made the decision to close that chapter, pack up, and begin a new one down south. They were looking for a simpler way of life and a community that felt like home—and they found exactly that in Aynor.
“When we stumbled upon Aynor, it immediately brought me back to my childhood,” Kristina shared. “It reminded both Andrew and me of how we grew up on little farms up north in the late ’80s and ’90s—simple, slower living. We were looking for a small town with a humble community, and that’s exactly what we found. After losing my mom, that’s what our little family needed most. I couldn’t feel any more connected to her anywhere else.”
Nearly six years later, the Tartaglias—along with their children Kolten, Sage, and their youngest son Wesly—are proud to call Aynor home. This fall, they officially opened The Clipper Barn, a place that’s quickly becoming more than just a barbershop.
“The Clipper Barn is more than just a place for men to get haircuts,” said Kristina. “It’s a place where family, friends, and community can come together and feel like home.”
Offering classic cuts, beard trims, color camo, and their signature Cowboy Cut (complete with a hot towel and shampoo!), The Clipper Barn is a true hometown barbershop where craftsmanship meets comfort. Both Kristina and Andrew are licensed barbers, and they’ve even added another talented barber to their growing team—ready to serve Aynor with pride.
We invite everyone to come out, meet the Tartaglia family, and celebrate this wonderful new addition to our community. The ribbon cutting will take place on Monday, November 10 at 10:00 AM at 3935 Hwy 319, Aynor, SC. Stop by, enjoy some refreshments, and help us give a warm Aynor welcome to The Clipper Barn!
Welcome to Aynor, Kristina, Andrew, and family—we’re so glad you’re here.
